Fulltime?

Master, every few years it seems
I need a change of dreams
from what I've been and seen
I serve you not the routine

I know you were a carpenter
for many years before the three
years and they always wanted me
to walk up front to commit
myself to fulltime ministry
but I would only sit
later I took English lit

So now I say
I just work here to pay the way
the way is something apart
to that I give my heart

Master, I do wonder if there's more
than my job at the store
but must I have a vision
to call my safety sin

where is my nerve?
how will I serve?
