For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. Romans 1:16-17

Why this website?

The purpose of this website is three-fold: First, to proclaim the one true Gospel and it's implications in a world of false religion preaching a false Christ and a false gospel; secondly, to bring forth theological issues that we believe are important even though they are not popular; and lastly, to make known the ministry of the Gospel of Grace Church of Ross, Ohio.

What is the Gospel?

The gospel may be defined as the message that Christ came to establish a Righteousness that satisfies God's Law and Justice, as Representative and Surety for God's elect. This message encompasses God's sovereign election of His people, who were elected in Christ, and of Christ's efficacious atonement for His people. A message of atonement that purchases all of the gifts and graces for the complete salvation of God's people. A message that excludes anything done by or in the sinner as a condition of salvation including one's faith. The following articles deal more extensively with the details and implications of the Gospel:

How is a person made right with God?

The Gospel answers the question of how one is made right with God. One cannot be said to understand and believe the gospel until they understand and believe that justification is by the imputation of Christ's righteousness, a righteousness that was obtained for the elect and imputed as the sole ground of salvation issuing forth in faith and repentance. This is the central message of the Gospel.
